Makes good coffee, but you cannot use the K-cups that worked on older model machines. I found that this machine made a good cup of coffee and was easy to use with the capability to control the coffee strength. I found several good features, but several that I did not like and that these resulted in lowering my rating for the machine.Pros –· Ability to control the strength of the coffee and to make cups of 4,6,8 or 10 ounces.· The machine will also brew a 40-ounce pot of coffee, but you need a special carafe that is NOT supplied.· According to the instruction the machine will also make hot chocolate, but I have not tied this.· The machine comes with a charcoal filter to remove water impurities, thereby eliminating a source of variability and poor coffee.Cons –· You need special K-cups that are made for especially this machine. not impressed We got a Mini Keurig for Christmas in 2013 and we use it almost daily. When the new 2.0 became available through Vine, we thought we’d upgrade, especially since this new model can brew a carafe as well as single cups. We’ve used the new one 5 or 6 times and we’re going back to the Mini. Here’s why:1) The 2.0 requires you to wait for it to pre-heat before you press the start button to brew your coffee. This takes about a minute or so of standing around. You can likely busy yourself, but it’s just stupid. With the Mini, you press the start button and it preheats and then automatically starts brewing when it’s hot enough (neither coffeemaker gets the coffee hot enough, though, and it cools off quickly. I almost always heat mine up more in the microwave, especially if I’ve neglected to grab it right away.).2) The 2.0 makes loud ticking noises as it heats up and brews. Imagine a grandfather clock on your counter. It’s annoying. The Mini isn’t overly quiet, but it…
